Situated on the right bank of river Baspa and 17 km from Karcham lies a beautiful village,Sangla. It is nestled at a height of 2621 m above sea level.The valley is located at a distance of 30 km from Tibetian Border.A perfect landscape view of houses rising one above the other being on a slope,The Raldang snow-capped peaks in the backdrop ,the Baspa river famous for its trout fishing flowing through the valley and forests all around makes everything appear like an awe-strucking painting colored perfectly such a way that it’s been crowned as the prettiest valley of India. Sangla is about 500 kms from Delhi and about 350 km from Chandigarh. You will have to pass via Shimla for any of the two routes-Delhi or Chandigarh. It is further 7-8 hours from Shimla.

Bering Nag Temple
Bering Nag Temple also known as Lord Jagas is a prime attraction in Sangla Village ,the only temple dedicated to the Nag(snake) of Lord Shiva and a must visit architectural structure. It is visited by many tourists especially in August and September to attend its famous event “Fulaich Fair” also called the festival of flowers. The Kinnauri’s attend the fair wearing their traditional costumes, performing traditional dances and songs and perform certain rituals for their departed loved ones.
Chitkul
Chitkul is a village of Kinnaur district and is the last Indian village on the old Hindustan Tibet route near Indo-China border. It’s the last point in India, one can travel without a permit. One has to cross 5242 m high Charang Pass to reach Chitkul loacted at a height of 3450 m, located around at a distance of 28 km from Sangla, around 40 km from Karcham where road bifurcates from Hindustan- Tibet Road(NH 22) and is about 600 km away from Delhi. The trek to Nagasthi ITBP is about 4 km and Rankanda meadows is about 10 km from Chitkul. Apricot and apple trees bloom in the month of April. It is like a doorway to little paradise where you find orchards, mountains, rocks ,river, grassland and meadows. According to a recent study by Centre of Atmospheric Sciences at IIT Delhi, Chitkul has the cleanest air in India.the serenity of this place is a sight to behold.
Kamru Fort
An 800 year old fort now converted to temple gives you the glimpses of architectural artistic legacy of the past. It is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kamakhya Devi. The Fort welcomes its visitors with a magnificent image of Lord Buddha onthe main door and a large idol of Goddess, placed on its third floor .
Baspa River
Baspa River, a rippling river of crystal clear water with picturesque scenery is known for trout.For those who do not want to indulge in angling, then gazing at the beautiful shoals of trout is a great experience.
