Jim Corbett National Park is one of India’s biggest Tiger reserves situated in Uttarakhand. The park is named after Lieutenant colonel Jim Corbett who spent his Childhood and Adult life in the jungles of Nainital. A skilled hunter; known for his many hunting expeditions including killing Man eaters & Cattle lifters. A Park that has many Resorts, Hotels & Camps. The river Kosi runs proximate to the Park and is also a significant water resource for nearby areas.

Nainital
Nainital is another prominent tourist spot for people who wish to cool off from Delhi. It’s a Lovers Paradise. With Naini Lake and surrounding hills, it provides a perfect setting for that pleasant day.

Itinerary

Day1:Travel to Jim Corbett National Park(300kms) from Delhi. Overnight at Resort.

Day2: Spend time in Resort with Safari activities.
Day3: After breakfast, leave for Nainital (70kms)from Jim Corbett. Tour of Nainital includes:

a) Naini Lake boat ride
b) Stroll down the shopping venues
c) A tour of the highest point of Nainital and few other surrounding lakes.

Day4: Travel to kausani(120kms). En route, visit Almora and reach Kausani; overnight at hotel including bonfire.

Day5: Kausanitour includes:

a) Tea Estates and Pear Orchards.
b) Visit tea gardens.
c) View of sunrise over the Himalayan range. Also visit Baijnath Temple. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day6: Kasauni to Almora (47kms). Almora tour includes:

a) Snow clad peaks of Nanda Devi and Trishul.

Day7: After breakfast, travel back to Delhi (380kms).
