  2. Gauge yourself well for oxygen levels, breathing, health levels on day 1. Following which you will be required to use oxygen cylinders on following days.
  3. Do not drink or smoke on day 1 & day 2. Best to avoid during whole tour.
  4. Try taking your Breakfast and Dinner at your hotel as they are equipped to provide Indian food. 
  5. Avoid sleeping during day time. Try and sleep upright.
  6. Try local ladakhi food at good restaurants in leh. Carry snacks during day time as very little or no restaurants available enroute different destinations.
  7. Wear sturdy and solid shoes during your trip to ladakh. Always wear/carry one good quality jacket with you as weather is totally unpredictable. It can suddenly get cold. Evenings are generally cold even during summers.
  8. As of 2018 only Airtel/BSNL postpaid networks are active in Leh. For rest of ladakh apart from Leh, only BSNL postpaid works.
  9. Carry basic medicines with you for nausea and other basic ailments.
  10. Show respect to local people / customs. Protect the fragile flora and fauna by not littering. 
  11. Carry at least 3 copies of your Aadhaar/passport documents along with original.
